Listen To This Artie! is an "audience recording merge and remaster". The double CD was recorded at Madison Square Garden in New York City on September 3rd, 1971, two months before the group would finish Led Zeppelin IV (Zoso), and the discs are edited together from two different tape sources, both from the audience, including someone named Artie, who is recognized in the title of the boot. This is pretty much 100% of the show with the exception of some audio cuts due to the nature of analog recording at the time, including "Going To California". "Rock And Roll" was still called "Been A Long Time", as announced by Robert Plant. As you will hear, the volume in some sections may seem low but that's due to the creators of this disc living in excessive crowd sounds from the recording, including hand clapping during "Moby Dick" and people talking near the taper. Highlights include the group including "You Shook Me" as part of their "Whole Lotta Love" medley. -Original
