Led Zeppelin
'Farmhouse Blues'
(1992 Blue Kangaroo Records : BK-11)
Maple Leaf Gardens
Toronto, Ontario, Canada
Saturday September 4th, 1971

Soundboard Recordings
Encoded: 320 Kbps MP3

There are only 6 songs from the soundboard known to be in circulation from this show in Toronto. But, they are definitely worth having. Wonderfully clear and crisp sound. Robert's voice is in it's top form. Robert sings Stairway To Heaven absolutely perfect. At this early point in their career Robert didn't hate that song. As we all know now Robert really started to hate singing Stairway! He mentioned that fact many times over the years. He has said "Kashmir... now that's a great song." I tend to agree with him on that! -Yup

"Listen, it really amazes me because anybody who's been to England knows that when you go to a concert, you, there's such a thing as listening to what's going on. And unfortunately, unfortunately, we're faced with a problem in our, in our free society, where a lot of people come to listen, and there's a lot of people who are making a racket, so nobody hears what's going on. Now we've got some things to say, and every time I go to open my mouth, there's another spokesman. So we'd like to do two acoustic things now, if you could bear with us, alright? You can either stay in a complete rut, or after three years, you can start moving and flowing a bit more. So I think you'll pick that." -Robert Plant : November 4th, 1971.
