Can we make this happen by the end of this weekend?

Really need to get this now to keep posting more!

Everyone helps with getting & maintaining physical & 'cloud' storage.
The key reason for the physical storage is for you & I to retrieve at anytime
a show(s) when a file is corrupt, deleted, or lost in the 'cloud'.

08 Look At Me    Allison/Holly/Petty
09 Waterspout    McCartney
10 Raining In My Heart
11 It's So Easy    Petty/Holly
12 Bo Diddley

Tracks 1-8 are rehearsals by Paul McCartney and Denny Laine in Paul's recording studio, Scotland, 1976/1977. These recordings were intended for the forthcoming album "Holly Days" by Denny Laine.
Track 9 is an instrumental version of "Waterspout", a never released song by Paul.
Tracks 10-12 were performed live in London during Buddy Holly Week in September 1979.

In the highlands of Scotland there's a wood-lined, tin-roofed shack known as Rude Studio. Here Denny Laine and Paul McCartney got together to record some Buddy Holly songs in August 1976.
On the four track recorder Paul laid down the basic tracks, overdubbing each instrument himself.
Denny and Linda added a few licks and all three joined in on the vocals ... Denny singing lead with Paul and Linda harmonizing. Keeping it simple they tried to capture the spirit of the original recordings by recalling, in moments of madness, their own sweet Holly Days.
Due to the rudimentary recording methods used to capture the Buddy Holly style, only tracks 2 and 3 on Side 1 were actually recorded in stereo. -Original

Beatles, The - Complete Christmas Collection 1963-1969 [SBD@320]

The Beatles
'Complete Christmas Collection 1963-1969'
(1992/1994 Yellow Dog : YDCD 031)

All 7 Christmas Messages & Bonus Outtakes.
Originally sourced from flexi discs.
Studio Soundboard Recordings
Encoded: 320 Kbps MP3

From 1963 until 1969 the Beatles put together single-sided flexi discs with a Christmas message that were distributed to their fan club members. All seven of these were included in a 12? LP and sent as a final farewell to members in 1970. Various bootlegs of that limited LP have been floating around for years, and with assorted outtake material and rehearsal chatter included, plus the complete acetate of “Christmas Time (Is Here Again),” that is what has been assembled here in this festive boot from Yellow Dog Records. Aside from “Christmas Time,” which is a pretty good holiday song by any standards, nothing reaches serious artistic heights, but the sheer zany joy of the Beatles  is pretty irresistible as they joke and pun their way through short skits and fractured Christmas carols.

By 1965 everything gets drenched in reverb and quick edits, and tape loops by 1967 make these recordings in their own way as experimental as any of the group’s serious material. John Lennon’s genius for wordplay is rampant everywhere, and odd horn blasts and snippets of songs dart in and out. By 1969 the four Beatles were recording their holiday messages separately, and the sequence was edited together for unity, and yes, Yoko is there, too. As a sort of alternate history of the Beatles told through holiday tidings, The Complete Christmas Collection is fascinating and fun, and makes one wish that it could have gone on forever.

Following the initial rush of British stardom upon the release of their single “There’s No Other Way” in 1991, their debut album Leisure was seen as an anticlimax, using the indie aesthetic of the Madchester sound—a mix of dance-grooves juxtaposed with shoegaze guitars—with a more pop-friendly face.   Despite this, Blur soldiered on and by 1992 the band was in debt, embarking on an American tour to recoup and fronted by a new single for the occasion: “PopScene”.(More...) -Original

This is a reconstruction of what was almost The Who’s 1965 debut album, consisting mostly of amped-up versions of R&B covers, which was eventually scrapped and re-recorded as their classic genre-creating My Generation.  This reconstruction attempts to follow the original promotional acetate sequenced by producer Shel Talmy to recreate what The Who’s first album could have been.  The best sources are used and of course this reconstruction is all in mono—pretty much the only way this material should be presented! This, the second in a series of alternate Who albums, is a reconstruction of the unreleased Who album Jigsaw Puzzle, which evolved into their 1966 album A Quick One (or Happy Jack, depending on your continent).  Originally intended to showcase each member of The Who as a figurehead by allowing each to write their own half of an LP side, the concept was scrapped due to a lack of quality material and was rescued by Townshend’s seminal mini-rock opera “A Quick One While He’s Away”, which replenished the scrapped material  and occupied the remaining LP side.  This reconstruction is all in its original mono—as early Who should!—and uses the best possible mastering available.  Unique mono mixes were made of some songs which never received a proper vintage mono mix. Upgrade to the doomed rock opera Lifehouse by The Who, the next in a series of alternate Who albums.  Originally planned as a double concept album and the soundtrack to its accompanying film, Lifehouse was too technically complex and conceptually baffling to all except Pete Townshend.  After a nervous breakdown while making the album and the lack of support from manager and producer Kit Lambert, Lifehouse was scrapped and paired down to the single LP Who’s Next, which became one of The Who’s crown achievements, critically and commercially.  This reconstruction attempts to pull the best sources of all tracks associated with the Lifehouse project recorded by The Who and assemble them not only in a pleasing and cohesive track order, but to follow the storyline of the film. From the liner notes:
The Lion's Share broadcast from San Anselmo, CA is one of the great treasures prized by Morrison collectors. It is also one of the most difficult to find complete in excellent quality.

The broadcast on a low power Berkeley station [ed: see notes below] limited the reception area. Even worse, the Bay Area was rocked by a winter storm on broadcast night which not only interfered but interfered in different locations at different times. For the first time on disc, the complete two set Lion's Share Show is now in excellent quality pieced together from three sources for the cleanest tape possible. (More...) -Original

A Real Treat For The Fantastic McCartney Connoisseur. An absolutely perfect-sounding reconstruction of a whole concert from the 2002 US tour, taken from different locations and dates.

A double CD with 35 tracks from different venues from the 2002 U.S. tour, edited together to one show plus bonus track.  It’s much different that the official Back In The U.S. CD. Back to the U.S. is a kind of Best Of cd with crowd noise and all the banter left out. And much too loud. U.S.A. Live 2002 has all the talking, a great sound and is a pleasure to listen to. And 20 minutes longer. Same quality as the Des Moines double. A “must have” for the serious McCartney fan. -Original

'Rainclouds' was the song Paul worked on the day John Lennon was murdered. Some of these songs are damn near impossible to track down in their original form because they were only released on 12-inch singles, and some are quite good, definitely worth having in the collection.

“The title refers more to the double image of Paul in the cover photo than to the contents, which combines at least six entirely unreleased tracks with various non-LP songs and versions from long-deleted UK 12” singles. None of these specific mixes or versions has appeared on an official CD release.” - Philip Cohen
Who said life is fair? While many of these tracks won’t even make it to a Paul McCartney Greatest Hits album, there are many musicians out there who would consider it a great achievement if they had written any of these tracks.
McCartney is gifted as a tunesmith - his works may not be as weighty as John Lennon’s - but he does have a flair for melodies and rhythms. The songs may not be memorable, they won’t haunt you or bore into your consciousness but they will tickle your fancy with their cheery summery feel. And that’s not a bad way to spend an hour or so. -Original
