Original Comments:
1) This material has been released on several other labels in the past,
but "Godfather" EQ'd it. I think they did it quite well, although I am NOT a fan of this label.
Some comments about this bootleg at DIME (an incomplete version was torrented by someone there) said that this was a "great upgrade". You'll be the judge.
But this is my rip - and not the torrent from DIME. So this is the complete version
2)Some of the songs here I find even more enjoyable than the official record....for instance "Laser" (Scream Like A Baby).....although his official release is a milestone without any doubt
His performance at the Tonight show in 1980 is also absolutely terrific; the performances he gave of "Ashes To Ashes" and "Life On Mars" are still my favourite versions of those 2 songs. Bowie was dressed up like James Dean for the occasion.
That Tonight show performance is among my favourite Bowie moments ever. But maybe it's just me.
(also worth noting that GE Smith is playing the guitar......the ever famous Dylan guitarist of 1988 to 1990)
3) This material is a serious must have for Bowie matter which EQ work you prefer of it.
