Neil Peart - drums & percussion : Geddy Lee - vocals, bass & keyboards : Alex Lifeson - guitar. says:
The setlist for this tour remained constant until the addition of "Bravado" for only the final two weeks of the tour (one of those performances was included on Different Stages). Although not included in the final setlist, during pre-tour rehearsals "Distant Early Warning" was performed between "Force Ten" and "YYZ". This was the last tour in which Rush toured with an opening band. In addition, this is the only tour that did not include any part of "2112" in the setlist; in fact, nothing from the first four albums was in the set. This tour marks the return of "Hemispheres", with 'Prelude' performed for the first time in twelve years; other than a short teaser in the "R30 Overture", "Hemispheres: Prelude" would not be heard again until the R40 Tour.
Having fun this tour, Geddy usually introduced "Cold Fire" as a country song (often with a country music introduction), and Alex would introduce "Stick It Out" with a humorous comment and later in the show gave humorous band introductions during the "Closer To The Heart" jam; the introductions were never the same, and never did he make correct introductions, usually introducing each member of the band as a famous celebrity. Alex also again played a few notes from the Beach Boys' "Sloop John B" at the end of "The Trees", a practice that began on the final leg of the previous tour. -Original

The Digital Dan says:
Generally I have always considered sound checks to be filler material. But, this sound check is a little special. For one thing it is much longer than usual. The other special thing about this sound check is the only known "live" performance of "Entre Nous". One of my favorite tracks too so it is very interesting to hear them play this song (yet not play it at the concert). The sound quality is not too bad, about VG or so and sounds right for the Richfield Coliseum and Hara Arena. It definitely wasn't recorded from the parking lot as I have been to many shows at the RC and that sounds correct for a building that size. After all this is where the Cav's played, not well mind you, but they did play there for years so it is a rather large arena. Incidentally as I am writing this they are taking wrecking balls to the place since the Gund is the new home of the Cav's. There is distortion in the bass range, to be expected from a tape this old and the situation under which it was recorded. Still very listenable. The Jam with Billy Sheehan on bass was recorded during the sound check on the Presto tour. This is another really cool recording with really good sound, bit heavy on the bass, but that is what actually makes it better. Unlike sound checks that can get repetitive and boring, this one is a great jam and the boys are definitely having fun. The last tracks is another sound check from the Presto tour, a bit distant, but the best sound quality of all the sound checks on this release. I wouldn't consider this a mush have for average Rush fans. If you are a serious Rush fan, than yes it is a must if only for "Entre Nous" and the "Jam with Billy Sheehan". All in all a very different slice of Rush with some real rare gems thrown in for good measure. And yes, I did spent a lot of time mixing and mastering these recordings to get the best possible sound out of each. -Original

04 Heaven's In Here
05 Sorry
06 Amazing
07 Baby Can Dance
08 You Belong In Rock 'n' Roll

This is from a CD-R of "Heaven's in Here"  which sounds much better than the "The Blade and the Tongue"  CD version. There are some clicks in You Belong in Rock and Roll but it had a lovely sound so I didn't substitute it with the "The Blade and the Tongue" version.

There are hints of CD-rot occasionally (halfway through Sorry there is some rustle), but thankfully these are just 'hints' as opposed to the scrapes and clicks I hear on a lot of torrents and recordings which have suffered from this. Please upload a version direct from a silver CD of this without any CD-rot (and hasn't been archived to a CD-R that has rotted, obviously) if you can. Why did we get this rotting format foisted upon us? :)

There is lovely guitar work and sounds on here...Amazing particularly in the solo-ing at the end is indeed, amazing. -Original

Led Zeppelin [1973.05.23] Rare Partial Show [SBD]

It reads "RARE" partial show.

I don't use the word 'rare' ever when it comes to digital music. There's just no such thing any longer.

I am calling this 'rare' because in this case these five songs have not been circulating.   ...just sayin'

There are rumors of a recording of the complete show in the hands of a taper who seems to want to keep it to him/herself for now.
I am not sure about this story; but if it is true let's hope the recording sees the light of day soon. ...yup!

Good to Very Good audience recording. Almost complete missing about 10 minutes give or take of Moby Dick. These cassettes were located by Jonohull through a friend of his who went to all 3 Zeppelin shows in 1975 with the taper of this recording. His friend Kevin was gracious enough to lend the cassettes out to Jonohull who in return passed them along to me for repair and transferring. This is the first time this recording has ever been in circulation and the first time it has been heard by anyone including Kevin in a great many years. -Original
